Who can join the affiliate program?
Anyone can apply as a content creator — you don't need to be a roofer. If you run a YouTube channel, blog, podcast, or social media account in the roofing or construction space, you're a great fit. Existing RoofTap customers automatically qualify for the roofer referral track.
How do I track my referrals?
Once enrolled, you'll see a Referrals section in your dashboard with real-time stats: link clicks, signups, paid conversions, and your earnings or free months accrued. Everything updates automatically.
When do I get paid?
Creator commissions are held for 30 days after the referred customer's first payment to account for refunds or chargebacks. Once cleared, payouts are sent to your connected Stripe account. The $50 minimum ensures payout fees don't eat your earnings.
Do referrals expire?
Referral cookies last 90 days. If someone clicks your link and signs up within 90 days, you get credit. After signup, the referral is locked to your account permanently.
Can I be both a roofer and a creator?
You need to pick one track. If you're an active RoofTap customer, the roofer track (free months) is automatic. If you'd prefer cash commissions instead, contact us and we can switch you to the creator track.
Is there a limit to how much I can earn?
Creators have no earning cap — refer as many companies as you want. Roofers can earn up to 12 free months per calendar year, which effectively means a full year of RoofTap at no cost.
